So very simple really , from contacting SCA solar in the first instance all the way to my sig energy system being fitted and commissioned I have found Shaun and his team to be honest , friendly, helpful and extremely competent in there abilities . I would definitely recommend Shaun and SCA solar and I personally would always use a local firm I can talk to and feel confidence in rather than a national company that can be harder to deal with once the job is completed , altogether I’m very happy with my solar system including 2 batteries and a gateway which gives me great savings and electricity in the event of an outage .

Rang SCA Solar. Came out next day and identified the fault. Ordered the required replacement. Rang to arrange a date to fix and arrived when agreed. All up and working within 90 mins

SCA installed my solar panel battery and car charger system 2 years ago. I went to SCA having seen work they had done for someone in my area being impressed with the quality of the installation. I was very happy with the quality of my own installation. My system has worked well for this time. There have been a couple of queries needing to be answered and SCA's response has always been prompt and the problem resolved.

Excellent experience of working with SCA Solar, Shaun came out to give me the initial quote and I was very impressed with his knowledge. Shaun kept me updated at all times of when everyone would be coming. I cant complement the two fitters enough, Ben who fitted the panels and Chris who did the electrical side of things. Both polite and courteous and very clean and tidy. Excellent job all round, thank you.

Thank you to the whole SCA team for our solar, twin hybrid inverter and battery installation. In the 12 months since installation May 2024 we have produced almost 10,000 kWh from the 9.3kw south east facing array. Fantastic advice, super efficient and neat installation and great personal service. We followed a personal recommendation from a friend, and are delighted to be passing that recommendation on to others.

In every way this solar installation was an enjoyable and positive experience. Shaun, the company owner, is both a courteous individual whilst at the same time being clearly very knowledgeable about solar installations. He cared about what he was proposing for us, was flexible as we made changes over time and at the end came through with a price that was most competitive.
The installation itself was faultless. In two days Shaun, Simon and Ryan worked wonders in installing the equipment and Mark did his electrical magic in wiring it up. By the end of the second day we were up and running.
Throughout the whole time Shaun and his office colleagues, Hannah and Denise, kept us fully informed of the various stages that involved third party organisations so that there was never a time one was left wondering what was going on. Seriously good customer relations are a clear trademark for the company..

I highly recommend SCA Solar i’ve been a tradesmen for nearly 40 years and I’ve met many trades people in my time some good so some not so good and every so often you come across a set of trades people who go that extra little bit just to make sure the job is spot-on and all the staff of this company have that mindset from the ladies in the office to the guys who put the scaffold up to the electricians I can’t recommend them enough absolutely brilliant and the after sales service fantastic

I cannot recommend SCA solar more highly. We were originally signed to a national solar company who weren't really delivering the system we wanted or needed. After a call and appointment with Shaun (who has extensive solar knowledge and expertise) we went ahead with an installation of 26 panels and a 10kw battery - it has been amazing from Day 1. So much so and 2 years on we have added an additional 10kw battery - we have minimal bills to pay in winter, and have an additional small summer income from exporting excess. If you are wondering whether you should, i would say dont hesitate to use SCA solar - you will get a great system from a local independent company who are always there in the background for any niggles. Thank you!

Recently I had a seriously leaking roof which required the removal of four solar PV panels to permit the repair. The original repairer had ceased trading so I contacted SCA Solar. They responded quickly to this situation, to my relief. They know what they are talking about, and just as importantly listened to my needs. They did what they promised, when they promised. Courteous and efficient - what more do you need?

With such a big complicated purchase it is hard to do justice in a short review.
However if considering having Solar Panels I thoroughly recommend Shaun and team at SCA Solar.
I chose them because they are local. But not just that because I received a thoroughly professional service from design to completion. All Full warrantied and supported much more than any other firm could provide.
They have all the processes and assured promises that a big firm might offer all with a local and personal touch. It is not something I have really ever experienced before when having a big project done on a domestic level. It's quite special.
All that with knowledge and design that has already proven to be a great fit.
And I have the assurance and confidence that if things should need attention now or in the next 12 years that the team will be there to back me up.
And if not I have all professional underwritten warranties I could draw on. All provided in one pack..

Right from the word go I was impressed by Shaun . He has over 10 years experience of the "Solar Panels plus batteries world" and it shows. He and his team have a very good customer service ethic . He was always punctual or called to let me know if he had been delayed by traffic. He explained the installation process and gave me all the information I needed.
Within a month or so of our first meeting in February his team had our panels , inverter and batteries installed and running . It is a very neat installation - from the arrays of PV panels themselves to the connections to our electricity supply in our garage.
I would not hesitate to recommend SCA Solar to my friends.
